The thesis
Closed-loop issuers — fleet schemes, benefit programmes — have run for decades on proprietary platforms without adequate cryptographic infrastructure. No PAN tokenisation, no HSM, no PCI.
Two forces changed that at once: the Brazilian central bank is pulling forward its cybersecurity requirements, and organised crime has identified these issuers as vulnerable targets.
Building a CDE in-house is unviable for most: the investment is disproportionate to their size, and the required expertise — EMV, HSM, PCI-PIN, NFC — is scarce in the Brazilian market.
MILETIA delivers that environment as a service. The way in is the immediate pain; the differentiator is the package nobody else consolidates: EMV, CDE and NFC for closed-loop schemes.
