NFC for closed-loop schemes

M-NFC

Contactless payment for closed-loop issuers: an in-house token service, an SDK for the issuer’s wallet, and an own application identity.

Requires EMV. Device tokenisation depends on keys derived at the chip.

In-house token service

Digital credential provisioning on mobile devices with a token service operated by MILETIA for closed-loop schemes, integrable with the issuer’s own digital wallet via SDK.

DPAN and device keys

Per-device DPAN provisioning, with derived device keys and NFC cryptogram validation at authorisation time.

Token lifecycle

Provisioning, activation, suspension and deletion of the device token, with a complete state machine and audit trail.

Own identity, certified once

MILETIA operates under its own registered RID (A000000976), the basis for proprietary AIDs. Identity certification with the capture networks happens once, per identity: issuers that join later inherit the certified path and activate by configuration — BIN registration and routing.

Availability

Available for closed-loop schemes, under an own application identity. Integration with market digital wallets and open-loop support via the schemes’ tokenisation providers are planned evolution of the platform.

Issuer stack

UNCHANGED
  • Card core and customer records

Accounts, limits, billing and records stay with the issuer.

  • Processor / switch

The issuer’s own system keeps authorising the transaction.

  • Risk & fraud

Fraud tooling stays. We supply the primitive, not the risk decision.

  • Personalisation bureau

Physical cards keep being produced by the issuer’s bureau.

  • Portals and channels

The issuer’s app, portal and support are untouched.

  • Legacy databases

No database migration is required to start.
